Mixed Martial Arts – Also, known as MMA. It is a combination of every different style of fighting. To use one style is to put yourself in a disadvantage when it comes down to the fights.
Stand-up fighting techniques – Such include a fighter’s ability in punching, kicking, elbowing, and kneeing attacks. Stand-up fighting very well trains an MMA fighter in multiple array of disciplines, such as karate, Kendo, kickboxing, Kung-Fu, Muay Thai, and boxing. The disciplines that you would want to focus on will depend on your interests. But generally, great MMA fighters have an extensive knowledge of at least three disciplines: kickboxing, Muay Thai and boxing.
