This year’s instalment marks the start of the 2017 tour as judo enthusiasts eagerly awaited its return. It is every judoka’s dream to win here under the spotlights and in front of a sold out crowd of appreciative and knowledgeable fans.
Amongst those looking to make a name for themselves in Paris were a host of established names, with many Olympic champions returning to action. One of them was Brazil’s Rafeala Silva who we’ll speak to later in the program.
